Sencha Karigane is a blend of Japanese tea consisting of stems and leaves. Our blend is a mix of Sencha with the Yabukita cultivar and high quality Gyokuro with cultivar Okumidori stems. This tea is lightly roasted to bring out a nice balance of nuttiness and fruitiness, while also having a refreshing mouthfeel. It’s bright greenish-yellow liquor is a result of shading the leaves and stems, making the steep a more chlorophyllic and bright colour.
