White Tip, or White Hair Silver Needle, or in Chinese, Bai Hao Yin Zhen, is a beautiful tea picked with care. Farmers will only pick the buds of the tea plant, just before they transform into leaves, and will also pick at the beginning of the tea season known as the first flush. This tea gets its name from the tiny hairs, or trichomes surrounding the bud. This peach fuzz simply protects the leaves from damage from the elements. They’re sweet, delicate, and fluffy.
